Little Fishes does not charge a registration fee when a child joins the group.

 

A standard all-inclusive fee is charged per child for each 2 hour 30 minute session; as at September 2022 this fee is £18.00 and is invoiced monthly.

 

This fee can be paid with cash, cheque, BACS or government tax-free childcare and workplace childcare vouchers.

Little Fishes is a provider of free early years entitlement to early learning and care. 

All children are entitled to a funded place at playgroup at the start of the term after their 3rd birthday. This free funding gives access for parents/carers to a maximum of 15 or 30 hours per week, via a provider registered with and approved by the Local Education Authority. This does not have to be taken in full with one provider and can be split between Little Fishes and an alternative if required. 

 

2 Year Old funding and Pupil Premium are also available to some families, depending upon personal financial circumstances.

If you are eligible for 2 year old funding you will receive a Golden Letter from Walsall council.

Parents of funded 3 & 4 year olds are requested to pay a nominal amount to cover consumables, such as fruit and bathroom essentials, as government funding does not fully cover costs.
